Whether you are a first-time freshman or a transfer student with prior college experience, all new students should complete New Student Orientation.
Orientation is divided into two sections: Pre-Advising Orientation and Ranger Ready Orientation.
Running Start students should attend the Running Start Orientation and not the Pre-Advising Orientation. For more information, visit the Running Start webpage. Running Start students are still encouraged to attend the in-person Ranger Ready Orientation.

Complete New Student Orientation
Pre-Advising Orientation can be completed online via Canvas and covers your enrollment steps: funding resources, placement, pre-advising info, and enrollment info. You must log in with your student email address. Visit the Activate Student Accounts webpage and watch this helpful video for step-by-step instructions. If you need help activating your student accounts and navigating Canvas, you may visit the Welcome Center. If you would prefer to complete these steps in person, you can do so at an Enroll Now Event
Ranger Ready Orientation can be completed in person or online. We encourage students to attend one of our in-person sessions, typically offered on all three campuses. These sessions last three hours and are a fantastic opportunity for you to connect with other new students, peer leaders, and college staff. You will learn how to get first day ready and learn about many of the resources and engagement opportunities available to you at the college. This section of orientation can also be completed online, in the same Canvas course as the Pre-Advising Orientation.
You can sign-up for Ranger Ready Orientation at the link below for in-person sessions. For online Ranger Ready Orientation, you will complete this in the same Canvas course as Pre-Advising Orientation.
